Siobhan Howard Davenport
Siobhan Davenport became Crittenton’s Executive Director in February 2019, bringing more than 15 years of experience serving underserved youth. Previously, she served as Crittenton’s Director of Strategic Partnerships, helping build collaborations between funders, schools, peer nonprofits and civically-minded corporations to better meet the challenges of Crittenton teen girls. She helped lead the launch of our Declare Equity for Girls: It’s Time campaign in 2018.
As the Executive Director of the Rocksprings Foundation (2002-2018), Ms. Davenport oversaw all aspects of the foundation’s impact investing, specifically focused on elevating programs that provided economic and educational opportunities to low-income families and youth in the Washington Metropolitan region. Prior to her role at The Rocksprings Foundation, Ms. Davenport served as Senior Producer and Host for On the Potomac Productions, including the acclaimed “The New Washington” educational series.
She currently serves as a commissioner for the Maryland Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism. Additionally, she sat on the Advisory Council for Ascend at the Aspen Institute, served as Chair of the Lower School Committee at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, Youth Programs Committee of the National Park Trust, on the board of the Washington Area Women’s Foundation, The Madeira School for Girls, Washington Tennis and Education Foundation, and the Black Student Fund. She is a member of the Leadership Montgomery Class of 2015 and was awarded Crittenton’s Community Leadership Award at their 127th Anniversary Celebration.
Ms. Davenport received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Boston University and received her master’s degree in journalism from American University in Washington, DC.
Ms. Davenport has been married for 19 years and is the mother of two children.
