The Big Event

Each honoree spoke of their individual journey in life and their career and how they felt connected to Crittenton's mission and the girls we serve. As they reflected on their interviews with Crittenton alumnae, they spoke of how impressed they were with each alumna's ability to excel above. Our 2018 Leadership honorees embodied exactly why they are so spectacular and selected to receive this award.

The 500 amazing teen girls we serve are clearly an inspiration to many. During our live appeal, more than 40 donors gave a combined $75,000 to support our Crittenton girls. Dollars raised at our celebration go towards our signature programs throughout the DC metro area, ensuring that Crittenton girls will continue to lead healthy, empowered lives.

"Crittenton girls are doing the hard part - persevering despite challenges at school and in life, fighting for their own bright future. We have the easy part. So let us commit to making sure they know we hear them. Sharing whatever wisdom we have to share with them. And dedicate ourselves to supporting Crittenton. Because Crittenton's programs truly make a difference in each teen girl's life."

"Crittenton walks forward as an organization with such energy and hope following our 130th Anniversary Celebration," Crittenton Services President and CEO, Pam Jones said, “Without the commitment of community-minded people like those that filled the room at our Anniversary Celebration, Crittenton is just a good idea. With them, we are changing lives together.”

Thank you to all that made our 130th Anniversary Celebration a success.
